Festival Rules and Code of Conduct

Darmstadt is home to a very friendly and sociable dance crowd – please help us keep it that way by treating others respectfully. If everybody looks out for each other’s wellbeing, we’ll all get to enjoy the weekend. Should you nonetheless find yourself in a situation outside of your comfort zone, no matter what kind of situation that may be, don’t hesitate to talk to one of the organizers. We’ll try to help you as fast as we can.

Together with your confirmation mail, you will also receive two phone numbers. These are emergency contact numbers that you can call during the weekend if the need arises.

We unfortunately cannot take responsibilty for any lost valuables. There have been no incidents in Darmstadt these past years, however we obviously cannot make guarantees for the future. Keep your belongings where you can see them, and immediately let us know if you catch sight of anything suspicious.

We collect all items that have been left behind. If you forgot something at one of the venues, contact us via e-mail and describe what you’re missing. We’ll check our lost and found and get back to you asap.

There will be videos and photos being taken during the weekend. By taking part in the festival, you consent to them being taken, and possibly even published online and/or used by the Balboa-Heiner.

Of course, if you find a picture or video of yourself you absolutely do not like, get in touch with us.

The website, its content, and the content of the festival may be subject to change. We do our best to adhere to what we’ve published so far, but unforeseeable circumstances are (unfortunately) a very real thing. We apologize in advance in case major changes should occur, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it won’t come to that.
