teaches partner Lindy Hop with Jeff!
Michaela started swing dancing in 2011 and has not looked back since. She teaches weekly classes, workshops and co-runs two dance troupes in London, her home town. Her love of swing dancing lies in the partnering, the creativity and the constant adventure that the dance offers. Through delving into the music and dance history, refining movements and exploring different ideas with different partners, she finds the journey of developing a greater understanding of swing dancing utterly compelling. With her classes she hopes to open the door to some of these ideas and help her students take hold of their own adventures.

Known for his enthusiastic, energetic and cheery nature, Jeff welcomes his students to embrace their individuality and brings out their inner creativity. He teaches weekly with Swing Patrol and champions the idea of non-gendered dancing from grass roots level, intermediate workshops, and opens the minds of seasoned dancers.
His ethos of that people should „dance however they like, whatever role they like“ means he has a real passion for nurturing people to the best of their abilities. This in turn has challenged and pushed the London scene to be the wonderful inclusive community it is growing to be.
Practising what he preaches, he is part of the award winning performance troupe, Brat Pack, both as a Leader and a Follower, and was noticeably the only male follow competing internationally in team events.

Active since 2013, the Heiner-Crew first started out as a formidable duo specialized in Balboa. The following year they began expanding their roster, adding Lindy Hop, Charleston, Vintage Jazz Dance, Blues and Collegiate Shag to their courses. Since then, they’ve accumulated over 38 years of shared experience teaching dancers of all levels. Each of the seven swing enthusiasts brings their own focus to the table, be that technique, musicality, creativity, or just a healthy dose of fun and appreciation for the dance.
